BIOGRAPHY

Maria Shipaeva is the CTO of Geoindicator and a petroleum geochemistry researcher at the Institute of Geology and Petroleum Technologies, Kazan Federal University. Her work combines scientific research with practical oilfield applications, focusing on geochemical monitoring of oil and gas reservoirs.

Maria specialises in subsurface fluid analysis, reservoir process modelling, and applied petroleum geochemistry. Her research covers formation waters and brines, supporting operators in optimising reservoir management for enhanced oil recovery. She has authored over 30 scientific publications and presents regularly at international upstream conferences.
