BIOGRAPHY

James Newman is the Executive Vice President, Oil & Gas at Aquafortus, leading the commercialisation of the company's non-thermal desalination technology (ABX™) for produced water in the US and internationally. He previously served as the CEO, establishing the company's US presence and first field deployment of ABX™. His experience spans water management, disposal, operations, and regulatory compliance.

James began his career in the Permian Basin, followed by work across the US and abroad. He is active in SPE, Texas Tech, and other industry groups, bringing deep expertise in produced water treatment and resource recovery.
